Hibiscus Petroleum completes the acquisition of a 50% interest in the Anasuria Cluster of oil & gas fields and the Anasuria FPSO located in the UK North Sea from Shell U.K. Limited, Shell EP Offshore Ventures Limited and Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited for a total cash consideration of USD52.5 million. Anasuria Operating Company Limited, a company jointly incorporated by Anasuria Hibiscus UK Limited and Ping Petroleum UK Limited, assumed operatorship of the Anasuria Cluster (with the exception of the Cook Field).

Hibiscus Petroleum’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, SEA Hibiscus Sdn Bhd, assumes operatorship of the North Sabah Enhanced Oil Recovery Production Sharing Contract (EOR PSC) after acquisition from Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited and Shell Sabah Selatan Sdn Bhd (collectively Shell) of Shell’s entire 50% participating interest in the 2011 North Sabah EOR PSC for a purchase consideration of USD25 million.
Hibiscus Petroleum completes the acquisition of a 50% interest in the UK Continental Shelf Petroleum Production Licence No. P.198 Blocks 15/13a and 15/13b in the UK Central North Sea, which includes two discovered oilfields (Marigold & Sunflower respectively), thereby increasing Hibiscus Petroleum’s footprint in the UK.

Hibiscus Petroleum’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Peninsula Hibiscus Sdn Bhd successfully completes the acquisition of the entire equity interest in Fortuna International Petroleum Corporation (FIPC) from Repsol Exploración, S.A. FIPC holds various interests and operatorships in 5 production sharing contracts (PSCs): PM3 CAA, 2012 Kinabalu Oil, Block 46 (Cai Nuoc), PM305 and PM314.
Hibiscus Petroleum’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Limited, completes the drilling of the longest well in Malaysia at the Bunga Orkid field in the northern area of the PM3 CAA PSC. The well, Bunga Orkid C-29 (BOC-29), was drilled to a total depth of 6,963 metres and produced at an initial rate of close to 4,000 barrels of oil per day.
Hibiscus Petroleum’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Anasuria Hibiscus UK Limited, receives Field Development Plan approval and Production Consent for the Teal West development in the UK North Sea from the UK’s North Sea Transition Authority.
Hibiscus Petroleum’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Simpor Hibiscus Sdn Bhd, successfully completes the acquisition of the entire equity interest in TotalEnergies EP (Brunei) B.V. (TotalEnergies Brunei) from TotalEnergies Holdings International. TotalEnergies Brunei (presently known as Hibiscus EP (Brunei) B.V.) holds 37.5% interest and operatorship of MLJ.
